Clarify before contractor award

Who is connecting the equipment?

The issue
The equipment quote excludes final connections. The contractor’s estimate does not clearly include them.
Cost exposure
Unpriced work could become a change order after the contract is signed.
Next action
Ask the contractor and equipment supplier to confirm responsibility and price the complete scope before approval.

Resolve with: Contractor + equipment supplier

Illustrative example. Not a client result or a savings estimate.

Where the review helps

Better decisions now.
A practice that works later.

Bring the documents you have before your next major commitment.

01 / Before the lease

Question the footprint.

Review space and utility assumptions. Identify landlord-versus-tenant questions for your broker and attorney.

02 / Before final drawings

Walk through a working day.

Examine patient flow, sterilization, storage, and staff travel before walls make changes expensive.

03 / Before contractor award

Compare the complete price.

Flag exclusions, allowances, and unclear responsibilities that make bids difficult to compare.

04 / Before equipment orders

Protect your opening budget.

Separate day-one needs from purchases that could wait, while considering future capacity.

For example: Choosing a suite that is 100 square feet smaller before signing the lease may reduce rent and build-out costs. Rearranging the same leased space does not automatically lower rent or utility bills.

How we work together

Your team. A clearer plan of action.

Your design and construction team

Before you book

A few good questions.

The fit call helps us decide whether a review would be useful at your project’s current stage.

Which review is right for me?

Choose a Focused Review for one document package or decision. The Standard Audit connects multiple packages to identify gaps or conflicts between the lease assumptions, plans, construction estimate, equipment, and budget. Both include a written action plan and a 60-minute findings call.

When should I bring you in?

Before signing a lease, finalizing drawings, awarding construction, or ordering equipment. A later review can still be useful, but the options for making changes may be narrower.

What documents do you need?

Share what exists: relevant lease or work-letter excerpts, your floor plan, contractor estimate, equipment quote, budget, and the decision you need to make. We confirm the required documents for your scope. No patient data is needed.

Do you design or stamp the floor plan?

No. I review clinical workflow and operating assumptions and give you questions to resolve with your project team. Your architect and engineers remain responsible for design, technical requirements, code, permitting, and stamped drawings.

Why add a review if I already have a project team?

The review checks how the documents fit together from the dentist-owner’s perspective. For example, an equipment exclusion may not appear in the contractor’s scope. Your existing professionals resolve the questions within their responsibilities.

Can you join a team meeting or review revisions?

Your findings call and written questions are included. An additional review round or project-team meeting can be added to the written scope. You approve any added fee before that work begins.

Do you guarantee savings or production increases?

No. The review identifies potential risks and opportunities; actual outcomes depend on the project, pricing, final design, implementation, and practice operations.

Can we work together from another state?

Yes. Reviews are remote and available nationwide. Your local professionals handle jurisdiction-specific requirements, field conditions, and construction.
